If we often talk about corporate training, it is often technical (recently web processing) or financial (starting with accounting) to ensure a good understanding of the tools we use every day.
But what is a group, if not 80% of the ingredient "living together" (this is only an approximation, of course because it is difficult to quantify ...).
This is especially true as groups seek a meaning to their community; otherwise, they will walk as zombies like Giacometti’s.
Family or company, the same reality
We educate5 children to get them out of the wild state and bring them up to the basics of life in society.
After having gone through the learning stages of the « independence, autonomy, freedom » cycle, they reach adulthood and face the world of work6 and, whether in public or family firms, they realize the importance of holding together the same torch.
In any case, we must give full “team spirit” to each employee; Deming, this American sociologist rejected by his country, has given to the Japanese the sense of « quality circles », a proxy for working issues together.
A tailor-made service
If we have some standard “group-oriented” suggestions, we assemble tailor-made programs, based on the diagnosis from some targeted interviews. The recent trend has been to serve warmed-up stuff in seminars, even though one should acknowledge the inventiveness of some organizations. The most important is to give the group practical ideas applicable in the short term, not theories or a “free-for-all” information gimmick.
